CAUTION: Goldingay explicitly rejects the term "inerrancy" as a necessary descriptor of Scripture, argues that some OT narratives (Job, Ruth, Jonah, Esther) may be "God-inspired parables" rather than historical accounts, and advocates methodological openness to critical approaches.
